BAD WEATHER PROCEDURES
The office will reschedule games canceled due to weather. The information will be posted on our website at www.siouxempirebaseball.org. PARENTS ARE URGED TO USE THEIR JUDGMENT CONCERNING WEATHER CONDITIONS THEY ARE UNCOMFORTABLE WITH.
In the event of rain/wet grounds, coaches will be notified ASAP of the cancellation. The cancellation will also be announced through the following radio stations: KELO AM 1320, KELO FM 92.5, KTWB FM 101.9, KRRO FM 103.7 and KWSN AM 1230. You may also call the SEBA office at 336-3462 and the message will reflect the cancellation. PLEASE DO NOT CALL THE RADIO STATIONS.
If no such announcement is heard, be ready to play the game. It may be at least 4:00PM before the decision is made. In case of inclement weather either before or during the games, two (2) horn blasts mean that play is temporarily halted. Players and fans should take cover in dugouts and vehicles until weather permits restarting the game. Games will start exactly where they left off.
In case of severe weather, a repeated horn blow will mean all games will stop for the night. All players and fans must take cover in their vehicles and leave the complex.
